Bivalvia of the Spilsby Sandstone and Sandringham Sands. Part 1

In Part 1, the bivalves of Middle Volgian to Ryazanian age of the marine Spilsby Basin are described. Sections on the history of previous research, stratigraphy, localities, and preservation and preparation of the faunas are included. The systematic section includes descriptions of forms from the orders Nuculoida, Arcoida, Pterioida, Limoida, Ostreoida and Trigonoida. 60 taxa from 28 genera are described of which 1 genus and 9 species are new.
