In memory of Robert Scott, CASP has bequeathed an initial sum of £50,000 as an expendable endowment that is administered by the Geological Society of London. This sum is invested by the Society and the interest used to support a single, annual research award, beginning in 2014, which currently stands at £2200.

The Robert Scott Research Fund forms part of the annual research grants round made annually in February/March.
